Dr Brett Cairns is a seasoned Australian financial services leader with more than three decades of experience in capital markets, investment management and corporate leadership.

Across his career, Brett has developed a reputation for strong governance, capital markets insight and strategic leadership in financial services. His contributions span debt capital markets, structured finance and investment management - with particular influence in the Australian funds management landscape over the past 20+ years.

He is most prominently recognised for his executive roles at Magellan Financial Group Limited, including serving as the company’s Chief Executive Officer from 2018 until his departure in late 2021.

As CEO, Brett was part of the leadership team during a period of significant growth for Magellan, when the firm’s strategies and listed funds gained global attention. He was also involved in launching and developing key product areas such as exchange-traded products and the retirement solution FuturePay.

Jason Coggins is a respected Australian investment expert with over two decades of experience in financial services, specialising in research, asset allocation, portfolio construction and wealth strategy. Best known for his leadership role as Head of Research and Partner at Koda Capital from 2014 to 2023, he played a central part in shaping the firm's investment strategy and research capabilities from its early days.

Across his career, Jason has built a reputation for research-driven investing grounded in true diversification, high-quality manager selection and long-term, risk-aware portfolio construction. His approach is defined by rigorous thinking in sourcing investment ideas, a strong alignment between investment strategy and client goals - particularly in complex private wealth, family office and philanthropic contexts - and a disciplined, long-term perspective that looks beyond short-term market cycles towards sustainable outcomes. Known for his thoughtful insights and deep commitment to research, Jason is a highly regarded figure in Australia's wealth management and investment research community.

Fraser Herd brings over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, having worked with some of Australia’s largest banks and private wealth managers. He has held senior positions at Westpac Private Bank, Credit Suisse Private Bank Australia, and Macquarie, where he developed expertise in delivering bespoke financial solutions for high-net-worth (HNW) clients.

Fraser’s career has focused on designing and implementing investment and distribution frameworks, enabling access to wholesale private investments both within Australia and internationally. With his wealth of experience in investment management, client relationships, and senior management roles, he is well-equipped to drive the future success of Anseres Capital.

Fraser is a qualified Chartered Accountant (Scotland) and holds a bachelor’s degree in modern languages. His diverse background and international experience will be invaluable as he leads the Anseres Capital team in delivering exceptional value to clients.
